Welcome Back!

Our first day back was fabulous!  We need a week off more often!  Everyone came back with tales to tell and ready to share.  I loved hearing about their adventures as they greeted each other during our morning circle.
We kicked off our study of non-fiction by comparing and contrasting fiction and non-fiction texts.  

The biggest excitement was about our caterpillars.  They arrived the day before spring break and they have grown up a lot! We love the close-up view we get using our jeweler's loupes.
